Who do you get money from?
From people like you.
We will not accept donations from political parties or foreign individuals or entities. We reserve the right to accept donations from Aotearoa businesses or corporations but this will be on a "no-strings attached" basis. We also reserve the right to refuse or refund donations where it is clear, or becomes clear, that the donations from any of the above mentioned do not align with Make Change's kaupapa.
Who do you donate money to?
To grassroots climate and poverty action campaign groups. We do not donate money to political parties, corporations or foreign individuals or entities.
How do you decide which groups or campaigns to grant money to?
We are looking to support grassroots campaign groups. We either support campaigns directl,y or by advertising that we are open to applications for funding. Our grants committee (still to be set up) then will make a decision about which campaign groups we will support. The criteria for support will be made available to interested groups when they apply.
